Mrs. Jarvis' fourth grade class participated in White Ribbon Week by wearing white clothing. Students learned they can use technology to show kindness and respect to everyone.
Mrs. Reid's second grade class participated in White Ribbon Week by dressing up as someone they admire. Students learned that it is important to talk to a trusted adult right away about anything that doesn't seem right.
Mrs. Mortensen's third grade class celebrated White Ribbon Week Sports Day by dressing in their favorite sports team apparel. Students talked about how they can swap media time for a real-life experience every day.

Riverview students attended an assembly on Internet safety for White Ribbon Week. Students learned the rules for online safety. Students discussed that they should not share their name, address, and other personal information with other people online. Students discussed that they should tell a trusted adult if they see something on the Internet that makes them feel sad, scared, or confused. Students are excited to participate in all of the White Ribbon Week activities.
Riverview Kindergarteners celebrated 100 Days of School. The students brought shirts to school that had 100 items on them. They had so much fun celebrating 100's Day. They have learned a lot this year and are excited to learn a whole lot more!
Riverview is happy to announce Crew of the Month for January. Third grade was chosen as the best behaved grade in the lunchroom for the month of January. Mr. Hanosek's second grade class had 90 percent average on their tests. Mrs. Bundy's fifth grade class was chosen as the best behaved class in music class. Congratulations on Crew of the Month for January!
Riverview is happy to announce January's Stand Strong Honorees. Each of the students did a kind act such as helping a student when they fell down, helping a student understand their math assignment, being kind to friends, picking up trash, having good sportsmanship, playing with someone who needed a friend, following directions, apologizing, helping a teacher, helping someone clean up, and always being happy and kind. Great job for Standing Strong! Keep up the great work!
