Riverview Elementary had a performance by the Golden Rule Project. The Golden Rule Project performed a magic show centered on not being a bully. The magician demonstrated how bullies intentions are to wreck someone’s experience. Some people are immune to the bullying and they don’t let it hurt them. They can help others to not be hurt by the bully. The magician asked the students to think about how they would feel if bullying happened to them and to put themselves in the place of the person being bullied. Students were reminded that we all have the right to be treated nicely. Students had a great time learning about not being a bully through magic tricks.
