More Than a Fundraiser!
Kindergarten registration is approaching. It will be held Wednesday, March 15th, from 8:00-4:00. Three forms of proof of residency, a birth certificate and up-to-date vaccinations are required. The following vaccines are required for students entering Kindergarten:
Mrs. RaeAnn Nelson was selected from nearly 500 employees to be Nebo School District's Classified Employee of the Year! RaeAnn is the music planning time technician at Riverview Elementary. She does an amazing job and often comes in early to help with extra music for assemblies such as the Veteran’s Assembly. She gathers pictures of Veterans that are relatives of students to display them on the wall. RaeAnn is also our 4-H coordinator and has over 300 students taking 4-H classes! Through this program, RaeAnn helped dozens of families in our district benefit from our food drive.
Riverview first graders celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by dressing up as Dr. Seuss book characters or dressing as someone they want to be when they grow up. Riverview students had a fun time reading Dr. Seuss books and participating in activities. Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
On Thursday, Riverview students read books and ate cookies to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday!
Students in Mrs. Lopez's fourth grade class dressed in stripes for Dr. Seuss' birthday on Thursday. Students had a great time celebrating the book "The Cat in the Hat" by Dr. Seuss. Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
Students in Mrs. Woodhouse's second grade class dressed in wacky clothing on Wednesday. Students had a great time celebrating the book "Wacky Wednesday" by Dr. Seuss.
Mrs. Chambers' third grade class dressed wacky on Wednesday in celebration for Dr. Seuss week. Students all through out the school had fun wearing wacky clothing.
Riverview students attended The Wizard of Oz play at the Spanish Fork High School. Students enjoyed watching their friends who were performing in the play. It was a wonderful performance!
Mrs. LeMmon's third grade class showed off their hats in celebration for "500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins" written by Dr. Seuss. Students have loved reading Dr. Seuss books this week in celebration of his birthday.
