Riverview students participated in the changing of the schools old flag with a bright new flag. Veterans attended the flag ceremony and taught students what the colors of the flag represent. The students learned the correct procedures on handling, folding, and showing the proper respect towards the American flag.  

The Carnival and Silent Auction will be held on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th FROM 5:30 TO 8pm (with the silent auction closing at 7:45pm.) This event has been a huge success in the past and we anticipate it getting better and better every year. This is a wonderful night where parents, students, and teachers can enjoy activities together while raising funds that will directly benefit the students of Riverview Elementary.

Riverview Elementary is excited to announce our fall registration for afterschool 4-H.  The registration will begin Wednesday, August 31st at 7:00 a.m.  All information including club schedules, registration forms, and waivers will be available online at the Riverview website under the 4-H link.

A new school year presents opportunities for various beginnings...new classes, new faces, new teachers, and sometimes a new principal.  

I cordially invite you to attend Riverview Elementary's Open House on Monday, August 22nd from 3:00-4:00 p.m.

Come rub your hand across your clean desk, show off your back-to-school haircut, and meet your teacher and classmates.

If you need help with getting the kids ready for back to school this year, please plan on attending the event. They will have free backpacks filled with school supplies, new socks & underwear, free lunch will be provided for all of the children in attendance courtesy of the Utah Food Bank and there will be several local businesses available with resources.

In order to make all aware, Nebo School District's early out day will now be on Monday starting the 2016-2017 school year.  Please mark your calendars and arrange work schedules accordingly.  Students will be dismissed at 2: 15 pm on Mondays.  The Monday schedule for Kindergarten classes will be:  

AM Kindergarten

• Monday-8:45 am to 11:00 am 

PM Kindergarten
