Riverview students attended Joseph and the Amazin Technicolor Dreamcoat play at the Spanish Fork High School. Students enjoyed watching their friends who were performing in the play. It was a wonderful performance!

Principal Moment

Last night I participated in a Principal Panel.  The panel was held to help BYU Interns and students teachers as they prepare to interview for upcoming jobs.  It caused me to think about the time when I interviewed for my very first teaching job.  It’s hard to believe that it has been almost thirty years ago. 

I can still remember my interview questions: What is your philosophy of education?  What is your classroom management system?  What is your discipline plan? 

Mrs. Jones' first grade students at Riverview dressed in Riverview shirts or white colored shirts to remember to be drug free all year round. Students learned it is important to make smart choices in media and online and to encourage others to do the same. Thanks Riverview PTA for a great White Ribbon Week!

Mrs. Denison's second grade class participated in White Ribbon Week by wearing a hoodie or a hat.  Students learned they can protect their minds by letting someone know if something online makes them feel uncomfortable.
