Principal Moment

It is hard to believe that it is springtime already!  Great things are in the air here at Riverview.  Registration for the 22-23 school year is now open for students currently enrolled in Nebo School District.  Registration for students new to Nebo opens April 11th.   CLICK HERE for the link to start registration for your children that will be attending Nebo Schools next year.  Mrs. Downey and Mrs. Sullivan, our amazing secretaries are available to help with any question you may have.

We are on the downhill slope of the school year, and just like a sledding hill, this part of the school year whips by faster than ever! Please know how much we appreciate our Riverview community and the support you send our way on a daily basis.  We love your children and look forward to finishing this school year in a strong and successful manner.

Reminder that there will be no school April 4th – 8th for Spring Break.

Penny Wars – March 28th – April 1st

Our Annual Penny War Contest gives Riverview the opportunity to grant scholarships to graduating seniors at SFHS who attended Riverview Elementary.

How it works:

  • Students bring pennies to the school and place them in a collective bucket in their classroom.
  • Each penny = 1 point.  Pennies are positive points.
  • Students may also bring silver change or bills to the school to “BOMB” another grade level.  This change is collected in the office in a grade level bucket.
  • Silver change and bills = equivalent points resulting in a negative balance for the grade being bombed.
  • Popsicle rewards for the grade level with the most points.
