Our own Ms. Poulson was named “Rookie Principal of the Year 2024” for Nebo School District. This award is given to principals who are in their first 3 years as an elementary principal. She was nominated by her peers for this award. Ms. Poulson will represent the Nebo School District and submit applications to the Utah Association of Elementary School Principals (UAESP).
Ms. Poulson is a fantastic principal who instills a fun learning environment for everyone. She has a knack for creating holiday calendars that create a fun working environment for teachers and staff. She loves spending time with students and every month reads them her favorite picture books. She encourages students and teaches them about being “Remarkable Rams” with lessons on determination, courage, curiosity, kindness, and perseverance. Celebrating student achievements is a priority, from hosting pizza parties to giving out remarkable Ram Rewards and drawings from her treasure tower. Her commitment to education is evident through setting goals and working hard so that we all achieve our best.
