Principal Moment

Thank you for the wonderful support at our Open House! We had a great turnout and it sure helped eliminate our normal first day hustle and bustle. It is going to be a great year!

We are so happy to welcome our Kindergarten students to school on Wednesday, August 25th.

PBIS/Summer Reading Challenge Assembly

We will hold our PBIS/Summer Reading Challenge Assembly on Friday, August 27th @ 9:00 a.m. Every child who read three or more books from the Summer Reading Challenge sheet that was sent home in May will receive a special certificate.

Please return all reading challenge forms by Thursday, August 26th.

School Community Council

Would you like to serve on Riverview Elementary 2021-2022 School Community Council (SCC)?The SCC serves as an advisory council to the school administration. The SCC consists of parents, employees and the principal. They meet monthly for one hour and address issues that include Trust Lands Planning, Building Needs Assessments, School Improvement Plans, Character Education Plans, Staff Development Plans, etc. If you are interested, please click the following to find the candidate form SCC Invitation . Please return all forms by August 31, 2021.If needed, the election will be held September 7th – 10th.

Riverview PTA

I would like to encourage all to become a member of the Riverview PTA organization. The PTA is a school-based organization with the mission to make the school a better place for children to learn. Cost of becoming a member of the PTA is $6. Checks may be made out to Riverview PTA.

Safety in the Parking Lots

Our parking lots are the only place where drivers and students share the same area of the roadway. Please be very aware of children when entering the school parking lots. Please review the school site map to become familiar with drop-off & pick up procedures Riverview School Site Map 

School Handbook

Please become as involved as possible in your child(ren)’s education. PTA Fundraiser – “Drive-In” Family Movie Night!!

Please plan to join us on Monday, September 13th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Movie, snacks and more. Students can bring a cardboard box car if they prefer to watch the movie “drive-in" style!  More information will be coming.
