Mrs. Reid and Mrs. Grant’s class have been learning about habitats, the animals that live there, and their adaptations to those habitats. They ended their unit with a presentation to the other 2nd grade classes and their parents to show what they have learned! It was such a fun learning experience!

Ms. Sivak’s First Grade class had their Valentine’s Day Manners Party. Students dressed up fancy and learned how to set a table. They also learned some good table manners while eating. Thanks to our wonderful parent helpers who were the “restaurant servers”!

I have read in the news that some schools are starting to ban sugar from Valentine’s Day celebrations. I’m all for healthy eating and watching what we eat, but I wonder what schools without holiday treats would be like.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, kids. Here are your cupcakes. They’re frosted with avocado.”
“Happy Valentine’s Day, boys and girls! I dropped celery sticks into your boxes.”
“Happy Valentine’s Day, students. What do you mean you don’t like tofu sugar cookies?”
4th grade had the opportunity to learn about Utah's Environments and Animals from the BYU BEAN museum. We got to see live animals and hold different reptiles.
