Principal Moment

I just want you to know what an honor it is to be the principal at Riverview Elementary. I know the few weeks have been difficult and challenging but I have been amazed as our Riverview Elementary family has come together to take care of students.

To ensure the safety of our students, the following procedures have been established according to the needs of our student body.

Again, we are excited and looking forward to starting school and having our students back in the building. We appreciate all the support we have received from our parents and guardians. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Our goal is to provide our students with the best education possible while following the guidelines to keep them healthy and safe.

Community Council

Are you interested in serving on the Riverview School Community Council for the 2020-2021 school year?

The form is due to the office on, or before, Monday, August 31, 2020

You can find the candidate form by clicking "Candidacy Form" above.

Council Membership must include:

Principal and at least one school employee
Parent/guardian members - must have at least two parent majority
Size is determined by the council
Member terms are two years
Terms are staggered

Virtual Open House

Reminder to Zoom on By for the Virtual Open House - Tomorrow, August 18th.

Teachers will be sending out links. Check your emails for links and videos. Teachers will be sharing important information and give you access to our Virtual Open House.

You may also find the school map located by clicking NEXT above. This will help you help your child navigate our school on Wednesday morning after you drop them off for the first day of school!

Zoom By for the Virtual Open House!

This year we will have a Virtual Open House. Students will meet their teacher and classmates in a class video conference the day before school. Video Zoom meetings will be scheduled on August 18^th. We hope that you can join us virtually so that we can share all the need-to-knows the night before school starts, just as we always do.

You will receive a link for the virtual open house via email from your child’s classroom teacher.
