Riverview had a wonderful assembly to kickoff the Champion Challenge. Students learned about Rodeo events such as bareback riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, rodeo queens, team roping, barrel racing, mutton bustin, bull fighters, and the rodeo clown. For the month of March, Riverview will be having a reading challenge. Each student needs to record their daily minutes read on their reading calendar. At the end of the month all of the students who read the required number of minutes will be eligible for a random drawing for two free tickets to the Champion Challenge Rodeo which will be held on May 30. There will be one winner in each grade level. Keep reading! The deadline is drawing near!
