Nebo is partnering with Tabitha’s Way for a new event called Read & Feed.

The purpose of this event is to encourage children to continue to read during the summer and to educate families facing food insecurity regarding food resources available to them and their children while they are not attending school. Our goal is to gather 10,000 gently used books that children can take home with them and keep to read during the summer.

Riverview students were inspired and awed by former Harlem Globetrotter, youth motivational speaker, and 4-Time Guinness World Record Holder, Corey The Dribbler, for our 3rd Term Good Citizenship virtual assembly!

Students were taught the importance of treating their teachers, parents/guardians, and classmates with respect. They were taught the value of kindness and how to treat others the way they themselves would like to be treated. Self-Respect was also taught and the importance of resilience, determinations, having a great attitude, being responsible and ready to learn!
