Green Ribbon Week

Submitted by amy.nelson on

All week long, we are learning about how to be safe in the car and walking or riding our bikes to and from school.  The PTA has planned fun activities to help us remember the little things that help keep us safe in a big way.  Here is what we've done so far...

We kicked off the week with wearing green and having an assembly with fun games to remind us of safety rules.

We wore mismatched shoes to remind us to "watch our step" and keep safe.

We wore bright colors like they did in the 80s to be seen by cars.

And we are a team!  Teamwork is our theme this year, and we do a great job of it at Riverview!  We also like to have lots of fun while working hard at this.

Saying Goodbye

We are gutted at Riverview to have Mrs. Jarvis and Mr. Lowe leaving us.  There was an assembly today in which each grade put together a little farewell tribute for each.  There were candy posters, fun songs, and excellent advice from the first graders.  We wish them both all the best in their new endeavors!!  We will MISS you!!!
