No school on Monday, February 28, 2022. That day will be a planning day for our educators. This time will allow teachers and staff to get caught up on final preparations for the end of the third term and to prepare for the fourth term. Have a wonderful weekend!
This is a friendly reminder that there is no school on Monday, February 21st. Enjoy your day off!
CONGRATULATIONS to our Riverview Teacher of the Year, Angela Linford, and our Outstanding Staff Award to Crystal Cox!

When I think of Valentine’s Day memories, one stands out to me.
I was in third grade. I remember how excited I was to hand out Valentine’s Day cards during my class.
I had picked out a special card for the boy who made my heart swell and filled my belly with butterflies. It was the perfect card.
I placed the card into his handmade Valentine’s Day mailbox before passing out the rest of my cards to my classmates.

This week all grades will celebrate the 100th Day of School. To celebrate the hundredth day of school, young children all over the country sing songs, shout cheers, read books, count numbers, chant poems, make murals, and string Froot Loops necklaces. When I was a kid, no one celebrated 100th Day. Now it is huge.
I wonder who the teacher was who started 100th day. Did this person have any idea that the cute idea would turn into a national event? Happy 100th Day of School!
This is what the 100th day of school looks like at Riverview.
We have some 100-year-old folks celebrating this special day with us. Thank you, teachers and students, for making it a fun-filled learning day!
