Riverview students attended an assembly on Internet safety for White Ribbon Week. Students learned the rules for online safety. Students discussed that they should not share their name, address, and other personal information with other people online. Students discussed that they should tell a trusted adult if they see something on the Internet that makes them feel sad, scared, or confused. Students learned about Netiquette, which is not being rude or mean online.
Riverview first graders celebrated 100 Days of School. The first grade students used counting and place value to count their 100 pieces of candy for their class candy factory. Students also drew pictures of what they would look like if they were 100 years old. They read 100 words that they have learned to read and write in first grade. They have learned a lot this year and are excited to learn a whole lot more!
