I just want you to know what an honor it is to be the principal at Riverview Elementary. I know the few weeks have been difficult and challenging but I have been amazed as our Riverview Elementary family has come together to take care of students.

Reminder to Zoom on By for the Virtual Open House - Tomorrow, August 18th.
Teachers will be sending out links. Check your emails for links and videos. Teachers will be sharing important information and give you access to our Virtual Open House.
You may also find the school map located by clicking NEXT above. This will help you help your child navigate our school on Wednesday morning after you drop them off for the first day of school!
This year we will have a Virtual Open House. Students will meet their teacher and classmates in a class video conference the day before school. Video Zoom meetings will be scheduled on August 18th. We hope that you can join us virtually so that we can share all the need-to-knows the night before school starts, just as we always do.
You will receive a link for the virtual open house via email from your child’s classroom teacher.

Dear Riverview Parents,
Something new at Riverview is our Wellness Room. We are going to name it the "Green Room". The Green Room is to address Social Emotional Learning.
It is hard to gauge the full impact that the coronavirus situation is having on children’s mental health and well-being. For most, returning to school will mostly be a safe and enjoyable experience. For others, it will be challenging or traumatic. The Green Room is designed to meet the social emotional needs of every student.
