Crystal Apple Award

Horace Mann presents the Crystal Apple Award to a teacher each year.  The recipient is chosen by the faculty and peers.  This year’s award goes to Sharla Thomas!  Mrs. Thomas teaches sixth grade and loves it! Doni Bufton, a sixth grade teacher, gave tribute to Mrs. Thomas.  She said that Mrs. Thomas has mentored many teachers, student teachers, and interns.  She said that everyone has learned something great from Mrs. Thomas.  We are very lucky to have Mrs. Thomas here at Riverview.  Congratulations Mrs. Thomas!  Thank you for all you do at Riverview!
