Riverview 4th graders had tons of fun at Camp Floyd. They were able to go inside an old fashioned school house and be treated like a student in the pioneer times. They were able to go to a museum and learn about the history of how Camp Floyd came to be. They were able to explore an old home transformed into a hotel for soldiers and people passing through. They made candles, built adobe brick, and participated in a military drill. It was tons of fun. Thanks to the parents that volunteered in making all the activities there possible.
6th grade students made models of the solar system. Each model was created to size using different items per AU (astronomical unit). Amazing job 6th graders!
